Heating Equipment Service Plan Options
Value Plan
Hi-Ho Energy Services’s Value Plan gives you peace of mind knowing your heating equipment is protected but without all the bells and whistles of our Premium and Comfort plans. Our Value Plan covers an annual tune-up, replacement of a limited number of parts, and emergency service during regular business hours, Monday through Friday. Contact us for more information, including a list of the parts that are covered.
Comfort Plan
Over time all heating equipment will have parts that will need to be replaced. Our Comfort Plan offers coverage of those parts that typically fail as a result of general wear and tear. Contact us to see a list of all of the parts, services, and other allowances included in our Comfort Plan coverage.
The annual maintenance that is included with this plan can oftentimes detect a potential problem before it results in costly repairs and should be performed once a year. Call our customer care team today to schedule a tune-up on your heating system.
Premium Plan
Hi-Ho’s Premium Plan is our most comprehensive and complete service plan option. In addition to all of the parts that are covered under our Comfort Plan, this plan includes heat-related plumbing and other major parts, services, and allowances. When everything is factored in, the Hi-Ho Premium Plan represents the most comprehensive coverage that our industry offers. Optional Add-ons for Oil Tanks & Hot Water Heaters
Oil-fired water heaters
As oil-fired hot water heaters operate as stand-alone units, they, too, are eligible for coverage under Hi-Ho’s service plans. This plan is only available in conjunction with the purchase of either our Comfort or Premium plans but also offers allowances listed here.
Oil Tanks
Oil tanks typically enjoy a long life-span. However, over time they will corrode and a leaking tank is a problem that no one needs and can quickly become a much bigger issue financially and environmentally. Tanks that don’t need to be replaced and are still in good condition may qualify for Hi-Ho’s tank protection program through TankSure. This program, much like a service plan, protects customers by not only providing funds toward the proactive replacement of potentially failing tanks but may also qualify policyholders for discounts on their homeowner’s insurance policy. Please note that this service applies to above ground oil tanks only.
Annual Tune-Up Only
Just as people should see their doctor every year for an annual “check-up”, so too should your heating and/or cooling equipment. Regular equipment maintenance is essential to making sure your equipment runs at peak efficiency all season long and is a service that is included in all of our service plans or can be set up as a routine service call for those without the need of a service contract. This yearly maintenance will reduce energy consumption, save you money, and help to protect our environment. Most of all, it is the best way to ensure your heating and air conditioning systems work when you need them most, during the coldest of winters and hottest of summers.
During an annual tune-up, our expert technicians will:
- Test and adjust oil burner for maximum efficiency.
- Install new air filters, oil filter cartridge, and burner nozzle if necessary.
- Inspect combustion chamber.
- Clean and check electrodes and nozzle assembly.
- Oil all motors on burner, fans, and circulators.
- Safety-check all operating controls.
- Clean and inspect flue pipe including chimney base (where accessible)
At Hi-Ho, we are here to keep you and your family safe and warm in the winter and cool and comfortable in the summer. Should you chose not to select a service plan to protect your equipment, rest assured, we still will respond to a heating or cooling emergency with our 24-Hour Emergency Service, which will then simply be billed out on time and material basis.
